Actually, worse when you consider what the end result for the window cleaners might have been. From the standpoint of building damage … you wouldn’t get nearly as much even if you were caught in the precise same situation but the fact is; you can drop and get a chair off the job much more quickly at the first sign of high wind, thunderstorms or whatever else.

Not being a hi-rise guy or knowing anything about hi-rise, wouldn't a chair react the same or almost the same as the scaffold?

There have been two high rise incidents involving high winds in Denver this week. Workers were hurt on both occasions.

One apparently occurred on the roof while scaffolding was being set up on Tuesday.

The other occurred on the side of another building the next day, when a scaffold was blowing as much as 40 feet away from the building and breaking windows.
